Voted Finland’s most beautiful ring 2022.

The inspiration for this ring comes from Eva de la Gardie, later Ekeblad, a remarkable and influential woman of science who discovered potato starch in mid-18th-century Sweden.

Her discovery of how to make spirits from potatoes saved countless people from hunger and starvation. All the grain that the farmers grew no longer had to go into spirits production and they could instead feed their families with food.

A new chapter for the farmers, a new way to avoid famine and a new invention that made her the first female member of the Academy of Sciences.

Through our ring we want to pay tribute to Eva Ekeblad and her historic discovery.

A ring in a classic romantic style with a motif of potatoes and their beautiful foliage in 18K white gold and a diamond.
